Hoi!

Vandaag het kaartje dat ik maakte voor mijn zus. Ze is met haar vriend gaan samenwonen in de kerstvakantie en gaf afgelopen weekend een housewarming feestje. De ideetje haalde ik van pinterest maar gaf er een eigen touch aan. Ik bezit geen stempel met een elegante bloempot, dus moest het een beetje anders.

Today I show yoy the card I made for my sister. She lives toghether with her friend for 2 months now and last weekend they had a housewarming party. The inspiration I got from pinterest but gave it my own touch. I do not own an elegant flower pot stamp, so I had to do it another way.

Vandaag Valentijn. Wij vieren dat eigenlijk niet maar een leuk knutselprojectje kan ik toch niet laten. Het cadeautje is helemaal gebaseerd op een servet die ik eens meegesmokkeld heb. Ik vond de tekeningen zo leuk dat ik die gewoon moest gebruiken voor een project. Ook de kleuren, wit en rood, heb ik behouden. Helemaal klaar voor enkele romantische avonden J

Hoi allemaal,

Dit weekend waren we uitgenodigd op een housewarmingparty. We legde onze centjes samen voor een bon van ikea. Die handige serviethouder van de winkel, kon niet ontbreken. En dan nog twee kaarsen versieren en klaar!

geheime boodschap - hidden message

Goedemorgen,

Vorige week was ik weer op bezoek bij A., dit keer maakte we een kaart met plaats voor een geheime boodschap (zie ook hier en hier). Hierbij een kleine handleiding voor het maken van deze kaartjes: eenvoudig en leuk! (gebaseerd op deze video van Dawn) We maakte gebruik van patroonpapier om te calqueren en designpapier om te versieren. We hadden een leuke namiddag en het resultaat mag echt gezien worden!

Good morning,

Last week I visited A. again. This time we made a card with space for a hidden message (see here and here). In this post also a short tutorial on how to make this card (based on this video of Dawn). We used pattern paper for the figures and design paper. We had a very nice after noon with a very nice result!

Goedenavond creatievelingen,

Begin dit jaar werd Jana geboren, een nichtje voor Jelle en Femke. Ik baseerde me op het geboortekaartje en de challenge van LIM: Sketch. Met de computer maakte ik het mannetje van het geboortekaartje zo goed mogelijk na. Alleen het krulletje liet ik vallen, dat was te moeilijk om uit te snijden :)

Hello creative people,

In the beginning of this year, Jana was born, a little niece for Jelle and Femke. I was inspired by the birthday card and the sketch of LIM this week. I made a look-a-like of the robot of the birth card with the computer. Only the curl I left behind, it was to hard to cut out :)

workshop

Hoi allemaal!

Vrijdag nam ik een dagje vrijaf- gewoon omdat het kan. Maar ook omdat ik mijn moeder en ik ingeschreven had voor de nieuwe workshop bij Elke. We maakte een kaart/enveloppe voor een cadeaubon of centjes en een bijpassend doosje. We gebruikte de enveloppe punch, krimpfolie, washitape, embossingpoeder en de scor pal natuurlijk!

Ondanks dat ze nog nooit met de materialen gewerkt had, maar dankzij de stap-voor-stap aanpak kon ook mijn moeder goed volgen. Na de workshop nog wat solden-shoppen en dan thuis gaan stoefen met onze creaties  J

 Hello!

Friday I took a day off, just because I can. But also because my mother and I were going to a workshop at Elke’s. We made a card/envelope for a gift voucher of money and a matching box. We used the envelope punch, shrink foil, washitape, embossing powder and the scor pal off course!

My mother never used one of this techniques but thanks to the step-for-step approach she did very well. After the workshop we went for some shopping and then went home for showing our creations J

Goedemorgen!

30 december werd Stella geboren, een zusje voor Clara. Een collega van mij is meter van de kleine meid en voor haar, de mama en ‘grote’ zus, maakte ik volgende kleine kadootje. In het doosje zitten  babysokjes. (Meer van dat? Zie Kaat en Femke - hetzelfde en toch anders)

Stella was born on 30th of December. A colleague of mine is her godmother. For her, the mother and ‘big’ sister Clara I made this little present. Inside the box are little baby socks. (More baby shoes? See Kaat and Femke - the same but different)

Hallo daar!

Dit is blogbericht nummer 201! Na 2,5 jaar heb ik het geheim ontdekt van een goede kaart: Maak ze twee keer. Ik probeer altijd een unieke kaart te maken, maar bij deze kaart wist ik gewoon dat het de tweede keer beter ging zijn. Ik vind de positie van de grote cirkel (omhoog)  in de kaart beter en ook de positie van de ooievaar in de cirkel is beter.

Met 8 kleine baby’tjes, was 2013 een druk jaar maar 2014 is minstens even goed begonnen met heel wat zwangerschapsaankondigen!

 Hello over there!

This is blog post nr 201! 2.5 year has passed and I discovered the secret of card making: make them twice. Usually I make all unique pieces, but this card I knew it will be much better the second time. I made following improvements: position of the large circle on the card (up) and the position of the stork in that circle.

We had 8 little babies in 2013, but 2014 is also promising! We had a lot of pregnancy announcements lately.

Goedemorgen!

Afgelopen weekend gingen we naar een 100-jarigen fuif. Neen, mijn collega is er geen honderd! Ze waren met 4 vrienden die elk 25 geworden zijn J

Een collega zorgde voor de cadeau, ik moest enkel het kaartje maken. Net zoals hier en hier, ging ik voor een kaart met cijfers. Dankzij het mooie designpapier, werd het een leuke kaart.

Last weekend we went to a 100-year birthday party. No, my colleague isn’t 100 years old! This party was to celebrate the 25^th birthday of 4 friends J

A colleague of mine took care of the present, I only had to make the card. As here and here, I made a card with numbers. Thanks to this nice design paper, it became a very nice card.
